Curbell Inc. is a privately held company with over an 80-year history and an entrepreneurial spirit that guides our two core businesses, Curbell Medical Products, Inc. and Curbell Plastics, Inc.

Curbell’s focus on customer needs and strategy of investing for the long term has led our organization’s growth from a small machine shop in the 1940s, to one of the nation’s leading suppliers of plastic products and a leading medical device manufacturer.

Still a family-owned business, Curbell is headquartered in Orchard Park, New York, and has distribution centers for our plastics business located strategically across the U.S. Manufacturing operations for Curbell Medical are also located in Orchard Park. Curbell employs more than 500 people throughout our operations.

Today, Curbell Plastics supplies hundreds of plastic products including plastic sheet, rod, tube, and related materials to commercial businesses across the U.S. Focused on driving growth, Curbell Plastics develops tailored, creative solutions for customers in varied industries including machine shop, aerospace, semiconductor, and equipment manufacturers, among others.

Known for our “pillow speakers” in hospital patient rooms, Curbell Medical Products, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of signaling devices and related accessories for the healthcare market. The business was formed in the 1960s when Curbell moved from fabricating parts for remote control units for General Electric’s new line of hospital televisions to modern day units that allow patients to call the nurse, control their lighting or even watch a movie on-demand.

Integration is key as Curbell Medical’s product lines seamlessly connect new and legacy systems focused on the hospital or nursing home patient including nurse call systems, patient monitoring, TV/entertainment, patient engagement systems, as well as hospital beds.

A consultative approach to customers has allowed us to grow and thrive, leading to Business First of Buffalo to name Curbell as one the area’s “Fast Track Companies” for the last several years.
